Q. General

When does GLOBAL IMPACT start?

GLOBAL IMPACT begins on Wednesday 10th July at 7:30pm.

 

What time are the night sessions?

Wed 10th, Thurs 11th & Fri 12th night sessions begin at 7:30pm.

 

Do I need to register?

There is no need to register.

 

Is there a conference fee?

No, this is a complimentary conference.

 

Who are the speakers?

Our conference speakers are: Ps. Peter & Ps. Bev Mortlock, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, Ps. Phil Pringle, and Ps. Chardon Lewis.

 

Are there day sessions this year?

Yes, we have day sessions on Thursday and Friday, beginning at 10:30am. More details to come.

 

Is there a Market Makers session this year?

Yes, we have a Market Makers session on Friday 12th at 10:30am.

Q. Kids Church

When is Kids Church available during Global?

½ an hour before each session – 7:00pm for night sessions – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. From 10:00am for day sessions – Thursday & Friday.

 

What time can volunteers drop their kids off?

1 hour before each session: 9:30am for day sessions – Thursday & Friday. 6:30pm for night sessions – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

 

Do I need to register my kids?

No.

 

Do I need to pack any food for my kids?

Yes – day sessions require a packed lunch.

 

What age is Kids Church from?

1 year old – School Year 6.

 

What if my child has allergies?

Please advise the Kids Church sign-in team, who will ensure it is noted on the child’s sticker. If your child has a food allergy, please ensure you provide food suitable for their snacks or lunch.

 

Where will Kids Church be?

Evening sessions will be in our usual Kids Church areas – sign-in in the Diner at the opposite end to the bookstore.

Day sessions will be located in the senior school classrooms and Sanctuary lower classrooms – sign-in in the rear glass foyer/stairwell near the senior school block.

 

Who is the Kids Church guest speaker?

Squirt (the clown and speaker) will be in the Over 5’s Kids Church.

 

Q. Youth

Is there a specific programme for Youth?

Yes – we will have specific Youth and Young Adult sessions during the day. We will also have time together before the night sessions.

 

Should Youth come to the day sessions?

Yes – we will have lots to do during the day, and also specific Youth sessions.

 

Are there off-site activities this year?

Follow our Youth Facebook and Instagram for updates on activities.

 

Will Youth be supervised during the day?

We will have Youth Leaders with the Youth during Global Impact, however we will not have a sign-in and sign-out system, so the responsibility lies with parents to know where their kids are.

 

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be lots of food to purchase during the week.

 

Do the Youth need to bring anything?

No, just themselves and their friends.

 

Does it cost anything?

The conference is free, but there may be a cost if we do offsite activities.

 

Q. Cafe

When is the Café open over GLOBAL IMPACT?

Wednesday 10th – open from 5:00pm – late

Thursday 11th – open from 10:00am – late

Friday 12th – open from 11:30am – late

 

 

Will there be café cards for sale again this year?

Of course there will!
